Retail Price $599.95 Be sure your HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum is certified! A lot of companies claim to have a HEPA vacuum, but many are not certified. If an EPA inspector walks onto your job site, and your HEPA vacuum does not meet the standards, they can shut you down or slap you with a fine up to $32,500. The HEPA Wet Dry Vacuum from Dustless Technologies is HEPA certified, and it provides many benefits you won't find in any other vacuum system. Check out our regular Wet Dry Vacuum to see the impressive array of other features. Meet EPA guidelines for lead paint removal in renovation projects One of the big advantages of the Dustless HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum is the optional Micro Pre-filter that greatly extends the life of the HEPA filter. The Micro Pre-filter is an inexpensive disposable filter that captures the vast majority of the dirt and dust before it reaches the more expensive HEPA filter. In fact, the Micro Pre-filter captures particles down to .5 microns. That’s remarkably close to the HEPA filter that captures particles down to .3 microns. We highly recommend contractors use a Micro Pre-filter in the HEPA Vacuum to extend the life of the more valuable HEPA filter. The Dustless HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum gives you a distinct advantage by enabling you to switch from dry to wet operation without worrying about getting the valuable HEPA filter wet. A protective baffle/wall inside the canister, protects the HEPA filter from water at all times. The Micro Pre-filter also retains its strength when wet, unlike other bag pre-filters, which is a huge advantage when switching between wet and dry operation. Features:
Technical Specs:
Filter replacement intervals: The Micro Pre-filter is capable of holding MORE than 40 LB of fine dust, but the vacuum is designed to be emptied at 40 lbs. so that at least half of the filter bag's surface area is always free to support the high airflow rates required for effective dust control. The Micro Pre-filter should be replaced whenever the vacuum collects 40 lbs. of dust, or when it appears to be half full. It should be replaced after being used for Wet vacuuming so the interior of the vacuum does not become moldy. It does retain its strength when wet, so it is not imperative to do it right away. The HEPA filter's life can be greatly extended with the use of a Micro Pre-filter. The Micro Pre-filter captures particles down to .5 micron, meaning that it captures 99% of the dust, leaving only the smallest particles for the HEPA filter. How often you change it is a factor of how often you use a Micro Pre-filter with it, and how often you use it. Change it whenever you can see a distinct visible color change of the white folded filter material inside the cartridge. The HEPA cover filter also captures dust down to .5 micron, providing a second layer of very effective filtration to protect, and extend the life of the HEPA filter. This filter should be replaced when it changes color and no longer looks white. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
